The Japan Series is an evolving visual archive drawn from sustained observation across Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and beyond. Through photography and digital image-making, the work explores contemporary life through architecture, atmosphere, public space, light, and everyday experience.

Each numbered work forms part of a larger passage through Japan — a long-form record of place, presence, and cultural environments observed over time.
